Unit #192 of the Police Benevolent and Protective Association of Illinois was
formed to promote professional conduct, fraternalism, and cooperation among the
men and women of the McHenry County Sheriff's Office and their peers throughout
the criminal justice system. It also strives to integrate the members of this
organization with the people they serve through volunteerism, community
involvement, mentoring and providing a role model for others to follow.
It is the goal of the McHenry County Sheriff's Police Benevolent and Protective
Association (PB & PA) to enhance the lives of the hard working men and women of
the Sheriff's Office on a personal and professional basis. As an advocate for
our membership the PB & PA provides an environment that is designed to cultivate
cooperation, camaraderie, and a commitment to serve.
As integral parts of the law enforcement community it is incumbent upon our
membership to place service above self, promote the welfare of others, and to be
good stewards of the duty entrusted to us by the citizens we serve. To grow
within our selves and our chosen career path is the goal, to be chosen to serve
is an honor. The McHenry County Sheriff's PB & PA's mission is to set the
standard for others to follow.
